Isabella Wagner Memorial Scholarship

Scholarship Opportunity for East Side Alumni Class of 2026
The Isabella Beha Wagner Memorial Scholarship is in memory of former East Side student, Isabella Wagner. Just before her 2nd birthday, Isabella was diagnosed with a brain tumor. She was a student at East Side from 2014-2021 and during that time, Isabella was in and out of treatments, hospitalizations, and appointments. In spite of what she was going through, she continued to attend school and do so with a constant smile on her face. Isabella was a bright light at East Side and built strong relationships with all staff that she encountered. Regardless of the challenges she endured, she maintained her positive attitude and friendly spirit with everyone. Isabella lost her battle and passed away November 4th, 2021. This scholarship is in memory of Isabella and her bright light, as well as a token of appreciation from the Wagner family for the East Side staff and community. This year, the Isabella Beha Wagner Memorial Scholarship is being awarded to one female and one male student, who is an East Side Alumni graduating high school Spring 2026. The Wagner family has donated $1.00 for each day that Isabella attended, over her seven years at East Side, equaling $1,260 for each graduate. In partnership with the PTA, East Side staff, and the Wagner family, the Isabella Beha Wagner Memorial Scholarship (established 2025), will be awarded annually to high school graduating seniors who attended East Side. If you know of an East Side alumni that would like to apply, the link to the application can be found here on the PTA website.
All applications must be received by April 10, and judging will be completed by May 1. The winners will be notified on May 4 and will be awarded at the East Side Senior Walk, on May 18(tentative date).
