Custodian Appreciation Day - Wednesday, September 21st

Let's show Yolaine Batista, Robert Bedsole, Brian George, Wade Smithwick, and Amy Winterich how much we appreciate them!  Encourage your child to say thank you to our custodial staff who works so hard all year to keep our school spotless.  Give a high five in the hallway or make a card to express thankfulness for a job well done!  Give cards directly to our wonderful custodians or to your teacher to pass along.

STEAM Day kicks off Friday, Sept. 23

The East Side PTA is excited to announce that it is sponsoring five schoolwide STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts and math) days! To help make the first STEAM day a success, we need lots of boxes in all shapes and sizes. We also need volunteers to help collect, distribute, and clean up. Jamba Juice Contest Promises a Donation to Winning School

Help East Side win a $1,000 donation by visiting Jamba Juice in the Home Depot shopping center on Roswell Road.  Each purchase of a smoothie, juice, or energy bowl entitles you to vote for our school -- grand prize winner gets $1,000; second place gets a free smoothie party for a class; and third place gets Jamba award certificates for 50 free kids' smoothies.  Make a purchase and vote for East Side to win!  Voting ends September 25th.

Reflections is currently accepting entries in six categories 

This year's Reflections theme is "What is Your Story?."  The Reflections Arts Recognition Program is a national arts recognition and achievement program for students.  There are six categories you can enter: dance, film, literature, music, photography, visual arts. The deadline to submit all entries is Oct. 5.
